The Queensland Bulls have smashed NSW by an innings and 33 runs to claim the Sheffield Shield on the fourth day at Allan Border Field.
A jubilant Bulls team made history with the win, scoring their first ever victory against the Blues in a Shield final. The dominant performance also resulted in the Queensland men’s team winning the title in the same year as the women’s team for the first time.
