Queensland’s ANZAC Day events ‘good to go’ without COVID-safe plans

ANZAC Day services across Queensland will go ahead next week without restrictions, with the government waiving any need for COVID-safe plans or event approvals.
ANZAC Day events around the state will not be required to submit formal COVID-safe plans, and there will be no restrictions on the number of people allowed to gather.

Deputy Premier Steven Miles said people attending events are still encouraged to maintain social distancing or wear masks where they are unable to distance.
