Wests Tigers coach Michael Maguire has urged the NRL to consider more bunker intervention after South Sydney fullback Latrell Mitchell appeared to get away on two missed calls during the Tigers’ 18-14 loss to the Rabbitohs.
Mitchell, who had already been placed on report for a late shot on David Nofoaluma earlier in the match, avoided conceding a penalty after he appeared to strike Tigers second-rower Luke Garner with his leg.
