Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Harry, Prince William and royal family set to mourn Prince Philip at Windsor Castle funeral
Hours ahead of Prince Philip’s funeral at Windsor Castle, the royal family has revealed some of the unique personal touches being incorporated into the ceremony.
Key points:
- Only 30 mourners will be allowed inside St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle for the funeral service because of COVID-19 restrictions
- The Duke of Edinburgh’s two fell ponies will pull a carriage he designed himself
- A collection insignia Prince Philip selected will be laid at the altar
The funeral is scheduled to begin at 3:00pm Saturday local time (midnight AEST).
