Brisbane fisherman’s hat found during search

The hat of the Brisbane fisherman believed to have fallen off his tinny has been found floating in the water while the search for him enters its third day.
Trent Riley was reported missing two hours after he made post on Instagram while he was fishing on Wednesday.

Police found his small unmanned aluminium boat about 100 metres off Mud Island, near the Port of Brisbane.
Two of three fishing rods, a life jacket and a waterproof bag were still in the tinny.
Water police, PolAir, Volunteer Marine Rescue and the Coast Guard have been searching since Wednesday. On Thursday night, Mr Riley’s cap was found floating off St Helena Island, near Mud Island.
