Skoda planning electric hatchback based on Volkswagen ID.3 – report – Drive
The Czech car maker is looking to develop a battery-powered hatch, according to reports out of Europe.

As a Volkswagen Group brand, it’s believed the new Skoda hatch will be based on the ‘MEB’ architecture which underpins the Volkswagen ID.3 and Cupra Born, according to Spanish publication motor.es.
In the ID.3, up to 150kW/310Nm is delivered to the rear axle from a single electric motor, offering a range between 330 and 550 kilometres on a single charge under the WLTP standard, depending on the variant.
