Unexpected apology ahead of trilogy bout

Dustin Poirier has apologised to Conor McGregor following an explosive clash on social media over a donation to the Louisiana fighter’s charity.
Earlier this week, McGregor threatened to pull out of the trilogy fight with Poirier after the American took to social media to call out the Irish fighter for failing to make a $655,000 AUD donation to his The Good Fight Foundation as promised.
