Body found after house fire at Fraser Coast

A body has been found after a house fire in Maryborough, in the Fraser Coast region, on Thursday morning.

Emergency services were called just before 8am after reports a house on Garden Street was engulfed by fire.

Police had not identified the body.

A crime scene was declared and investigators were working to determine the cause of the fire.
