The Princess Alexandra Hospital will remain closed to visitors after testing found traces of coronavirus in its infectious diseases ward last week.
Two weeks on from a snap lockdown that plunged Greater Brisbane into tight restrictions, COVID restrictions in Queensland will ease from 6am on Thursday.
Following consultation with chief health officer Jeanette Young, Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced coronavirus restrictions will be lifted earlier statewide after no new cases of community transmission emerged.
