Queensland Health ordered to audit masks in COVID wards – The Age
Queensland Health has been ordered to audit fit-testing of masks used by staff in COVID wards, after the state’s nurses union raised safety concerns.

Key to their concern was the fact mask fitting and checking was not mandated in the same way as vaccinations for frontline health workers.
We have a situation where there are 16 different HHSs and they can all do whatever they want, and we need the power to direct them, it needs to be a directive
