Bernie Madoff, Wall Street fraudster who stole billions, dies in US prison
Bernie Madoff, a man who duped celebrities and charities in the world’s largest known Ponzi scheme, has died aged 82.

A spokeswoman for the US Federal Bureau of Prisons said Madoff’s death at the Federal Medical Center in Butner, North Carolina is believed to be from natural causes.
Madoff had been suffering from terminal kidney disease and several other medical ailments.
