Brett Forte murder: Queensland police tried to get slain cop’s wife thrown out of court due to withholding evidence
The wife of a Queensland police officer killed in the line of duty has been asked to leave a court room by her husband’s colleagues.
Senior Constable Brett Forte, 42, died on May 29, 2017 after his vehicle was peppered with 27 bullets from an automatic weapon in the Lockyer Valley, west of Brisbane.
The next day Ricky Maddison, 40, was shot dead by police as they tried to apprehend him for the murder.
