When is a wicket not a wicket? When it’s out – Sydney Morning Herald
The Hundred, England’s cricket short form, is trying way too hard to be cool.
When a batter gets out in the Hundred – Englands latest reinvention of the cricket wheel – to make absolutely clear that its out, it will be called an out. The bowler will be credited with an out. If he/she gets more than one out, they will be called outs.
And I have this sneaking suspicion that each one will be flashed up on the scoreboard: OUT. OUT, OUT, OUT!
Thats an out for Sean Abbott against Glenn Maxwell in the Big Bash League.Credit:Getty Images
