Responding to a report in the Sydney Morning Herald which claims the Red Devils are in ongoing dialogue with owner Mike Charlesworth and are looking to purchase the Mariners and relocate them to Sydney, Mielekamp indicated that the likelihood of a deal coming to fruition was more fanciful than factual.
