Josh McGuire joins St George Illawarra as North Queensland grants NRL release – ABC News
The Queensland State of Origin representative will link up with St George Illawarra this week as he reunites with his former Broncos coach Anthony Griffin.

St George Illawarra has confirmed the signing of Josh McGuire after agreeing to terms of his release with North Queensland.
- McGuire was given an immediate release from his contract with the Cowboys
- The Dragons will be McGuire’s third NRL club
- His move to the Dragons sees him reunite with his former Broncos coach Anthony Griffin
The former Queensland and Australia forward could be available to play for the Dragons in Sunday’s match against the Warriors.
