Queensland records another COVID-19 death
Queensland has recorded another COVID-19 related death.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk on Tuesday confirmed an 80-year-old man had died in hospital after contracting coronavirus overseas.
The 80-year-old was diagnosed while in hotel quarantine and admitted to hospital on March 25.
“Sadly, a seventh person with COVID-19 has died,” she wrote.
“Sending condolences to the man’s loved ones.”
As the man was diagnosed in Queensland, his death is included in the state’s COVID-19 death toll…
