Alex de Minaur’s losing run continues in Monte Carlo, John Millman through to second round
Australia’s number-one ranked male player Alex de Minaur has exited the rain-interrupted Monte-Carlo Masters in the opening round, extending his run of losses on the ATP Tour to four consecutive matches.

- De Minaur lost to Alejandro Davidovich Fokina 6-4, 7-6 (7/3)
- He has not won an ATP Tour match since early March
- John Millman reached the second round after beating Ugo Humbert 6-4, 6-4
But in positive news for the Australian men’s contingent, John Millman progressed to the second round, a day after compatriots Jordan Thompson and Alexei Popyrin won their opening matches.
