Lauren uses apps to edit her pictures on social media. But she wants to set an example for her daughters

Lauren edits herself in every picture she posts on social media.

And for the Victorian mother-of-three, admitting this publicly was a really tough decision. 

Every time Lauren posts a picture, she’ll take some time to ever-so-slightly alter her facial features.

She’ll use an app to narrow her face, alter the width of her nose, draw in her eyebrows, cover up a scar and remove a mole on her nose. 

The 31-year-old said the need to change these things about herself started after having kids.

“My husband and I had our first child when I was 21 and I kind of went from this young, vibrant, 21-year-old living it up and partying to becoming this mum,” she said.
