St George Illawarra will approach Peter V’Landys and Andrew Abdo about relaxing their position on Jack de Belin, who is set to mark 18 months out of the game.
The Dragons know how delicate the topic is. If De Belin is found guilty, he faces the prospect of a custodial sentence. If found not guilty, he will have missed two years of football in what should have been the prime of his career.
