Friends, family ‘heartbroken’ after ‘bubbly’ rock climber Peter Garlick falls to his death at Mt Ngungun
A young Queensland man has been described as one of the “happiest, bubbliest, most positive people” after he fell to his death while rock climbing over the weekend.
Peter Garlick was rock climbing in the Sunshine Coast hinterland on Saturday when he fell.
The 18-year-old fell 40m from Mt Ngungun, the sixth-tallest peak in the Glass House Mountains, at about midday.
He died at the scene.
