Cronulla’s 2016 premiership match-winner Andrew Fifita may have played his last game for the club with the prop potentially making a mid-season switch to the Super League.
Fifita could link with his twin David at Wakefield Trinity in a move which would further ease Cronulla’s salary cap strain but there has been no formal talks over a switch.
Any club looking to take up the remaining 18 months of Fifita’s contract would need to pay a significant portion for the Sharks to consider granting a release.
