Desperate search as two-year-old vanishes near main road south of Brisbane

A desperate search is underway for a two-year-old child who vanished near a main road south of Brisbane.

Queensland Police said officers were searching in the vicinity of Camp Cable Rd in Jimboomba for the girl.

Emergency services have asked locals to check their yards and properties.

The girl was last seen wearing a pink dress.

Anyone with information is urged to call Triple Zero (000).
