Retired Carlton defender Kade Simpson is open to a return to the AFL via this years mid-season draft.
The 36-year-old called time at the end of the 2020 season after 342 games, but feels he still has more to give and has been training to keep himself in playing shape.
The AFLs mid-season draft will be held in June and Simpson said on the Dyl and Friends Podcast he would be open to returning if a finals side wanted him.
I still wish I was playing, like 100 per cent, Simpson said.
