Wellington Phoenix have pulled off a last-gasp 3-2 win over Western United after teenagers Ben Waine and Sam Sutton combined for the winning goal in stoppage time at WIN Stadium in Wollongong on Sunday night.
Waine rose high to connect with a pinpoint cross from surprise starter Sutton, who was preferred over James McGarry at left-back, to clinch a much-needed three points for the Phoenix, keeping their top-six hopes alive.
