Prince Charles speaks after death of ‘much loved’ Prince Philip, thanks people around the globe for tributes

Prince Charles has spoken for the first time since the death of his father Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh and remembered him as “a very special person”.
The Prince of Wales addressed the media outside his home, Highgrove House, on Saturday and spoke fondly of the duke and thanked people across the globe for their tributes.
“My father, the last 70 years has given the most remarkable devoted service to the Queen, to my family and to the country and also to the whole of the Commonwealth,” the Prince of Wales said.
“My family and I miss my father enormously.
“He was a much-loved and appreciated figure and apart form anything else we are so deeply touched by the number of other people here and elsewhere around the world who share our loss…
