Queen Elizabeth ‘has been amazing’ in the wake of Prince Philip’s death
Prince Edward and his wife Sophie, the Countess of Wessex have visited the Queen the day after the Duke of Edinburgh’s death.
“The Queen has been amazing,” said Sophie to the press, as the pair left Windsor Castle.
Members of the royal family have been visiting the grieving monarch at Windsor Castle where Prince Philip died on Friday.
Princes Charles, William and Harry have not spoken publicly but marked the duke’s death with statements on their websites.
The websites of both Prince William and Catherine, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, featured a photographic tribute to Prince Philip.
