Harry and Meghan say Prince Philip will be ‘greatly missed’ as Buckingham Palace plans Windsor funeral

When the news broke that Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, had died at the age of 99 in Windsor Castle, his grandson Prince Harry and his wife Meghan were in the United States.
Soon after, locals gathered at the private road leading to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s home in Montecito, just outside of Santa Barbara in California.
News crews set up nearby and a helicopter was seen flying overhead, but Harry and Meghan were nowhere to be seen.
They were quick to publicly respond to Prince Philip’s death online, though.
Last night they updated the homepage of the website for their foundation, turning it a dark grey in tribute.
