Melbourne captain Daisy Pearce has failed to recover in time for her sides AFLW preliminary final against Adelaide.
Pearce made a desperate bid to be ready for the Demons game against the Crows on Saturday, having missed the qualifying final win over Fremantle with a medial collateral ligament injury suffered in Round 9s win over Brisbane.
