‘I’m sober as a judge’: Joyrider allegedly took TWO very unusual trips though Cairns streets

A Queensland man with an apparent penchant for heavy machinery has allegedly been caught on an unusual joyride – twice.
The 31-year-old has been accused of stealing a scissor lift from a construction site on The Esplanade in Cairns about 3am on Thursday morning.

He was caught by police while allegedly driving it along Shields Street, before being charged and released on bail.
