Search for boy missing from Queensland swimming spot Cedar Creek Falls
A search is underway for a boy who went missing while swimming at Cedar Creek Falls in Queensland’s Whitsunday region.
Police said two boys were swimming at the falls around 4.45pm on Thursday when they both got into trouble in the water, but only one made it to shore.
Emergency services were notified a short time later.
Specialist police, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services and the Queensland Ambulance Service launched a ground and water search which will continue into the night.
