Souths captain Adam Reynolds will test his value on the open market after rejecting an offer to stay at the Rabbitohs.
The Cowboys are believed to be the frontrunner for his services with Jake Clifford and potentially Michael Morgan no longer at the club next season.
However there are no shortage of clubs that could use a halfback of the calibre of Reynolds and his astute kicking game from general play and from the tee.
