The master coach has no plans to return to the Broncos after finishing up with the Rabbitohs, but is not done with his coaching career.
In a survey conducted by the Herald of 25 club chief executives and chairmen, just 46 per cent backed adding another Brisbane team. The NRL also recently flagged plans for a 18th team to be formed in New Zealand.

With no Bennett at Souths next season, the usually involved head coach has had to step back from negotiations with skipper Adam Reynolds, who is off contract at the end of the year.
