No new local COVID-19 cases as Premier calls out PM on vaccine numbers

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Scott Morrison defended the nation’s vaccine rollout, saying it had been hampered by supply issues overseas.
Queensland Health Minister Yvette D’Ath said there was not a consistent supply of locally produced AstraZeneca doses, either.
“This has had an impact on the rollout,” she said.
“Currently we have about 14 days’ supply, we have about seven days’ supply of Pfizer right now and about 14 days’ supply of AstraZeneca.”
Ms Palaszczuk also said on Wednesday she had not given up on a proposed regional quarantine facility on the outskirts of Toowoomba.
