The Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster (shown at bottom) will be axed to make way for the upcoming Mercedes-AMG SL, according to company CEO Philipp Schiemer.
Speaking to Car and Driver over the Easter long weekend, Mr Schiemer also confirmed earlier rumours the all-new SL would be offered with 48-volt and plug-in hybrid powertrain options.
