‘Bodybuilding is seen as vanity’

Chris Hemsworth has some thoughts about how his “bodybuilding” affects people’s perception of him.
The Australian actor, who famously plays Thor in the Marvel films, is required to maintain an intense exercise regime to keep in shape for the part.
“There’s an aesthetic that the role requires,” he recently told The Telegraph. “Bodybuilding is seen as vanity, whereas if I put on a bunch of unhealthy weight, or got unhealthily skinny for a role, I’d probably be called a serious actor.”
