Queensland police attacked by hoons as 1000 people attend Gold Coast burnout event
Police played “cat and mouse” with about 1000 burnout enthusiasts across the northern Gold Coast before a number of “idiots” allegedly attacked officers with projectiles including fireworks.
Investigations into the massive hooning event on Saturday night are continuing this week as police seek to lay further charges over alleged “reckless and dangerous behaviour”.
