When things get off to a bad start, its difficult for them to get better. For Valentino the Doha GP started with him on the penultimate place on the grid and finished with a 16th place at the chequered flag. Instead of a stone, Rossi will probably now have to put a boulder on a weekend that failed to give him even one satisfaction.
I can’t be happy, when you start from the back it’s not easy – he was forced to admit – I lost too much time in the first laps, I wasn’t fast enough with the new tyres…
