Sir Dragonet was a dominant winner of the Group 1 Tancred Stakes as the 2021 Golden Slipper carnival drew to a close at Rosehill on Sydney.
The victory was Sir Dragonet’s second at Group 1 level and second in Australia after the imported stayer won the Cox Plate last spring.
Another highlight on Saturday was Chris Waller’s 10th Group 1 success of the season when Hungry Heart, a daughter of Frankel, won the Vinery Stud Stakes.
The track raced as a good (4) throughout the day.
