A man has died after being hit with a golf ball at the Portarlington Golf Club on Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula.

The 69-year-old was treated at the clubhouse by ambulance officers before being taken home.
However, his condition worsened later that day and he was subsequently taken to a Geelong hospital, before being transferred to Melbourne.
