Man dies after aircraft crash in Koo Wee Rup, south-east of Melbourne

A man has died in a light plane crash at Koo Wee Rup, south-east of Melbourne.
Police say the pilot was taking off from an airfield in the area when his weight-shift microlight aircraft crashed just before 7:00am.
He was the only occupant and died at the scene.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
