Legends pay tribute to ‘tenacious competitor’ Friend as retirement looms aged 31 – Fox Sports
Roosters co-captain Jake Friend is on the verge of retiring from rugby league at the age of 31 due to repeated concussions.

He suffered his third concussion in the space of six games earlier this season, prompting the Chooks to stand him down from playing and contact training indefinitely.
Hes reportedly set to sit down with Roosters coach Trent Robinson and club management on Tuesday where his future in the game will be discussed.
