A world away from France Dave Rennie allowed his mind to wander last month.
Far from the quaint French towns and cobblestone roads his side will travel through in the autumn of 2023, Rennie got out the crystal ball and pictured who would be accompanying him on that defining trip.
Weve had a lot of meetings planning and weve picked a team for 2023 World Cup and so on, so weve tried to crystal ball gaze around who might play, the second-year Wallabies coach said.
Its long been considered international rugby is planned around World Cup cycles.
