Up to 150mm of heavy rainfall possible for Queensland coast
Parts of the Queensland coast could see up to 150 millimetres of rain from Easter Sunday and early next week, as flood watches have been placed across the south-east region.
The Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting a developing coastal trough could form and produce isolated heavy rainfall totals, with coastal areas from Byron Bay to Rockhampton potentially impacted.

BOM meteorologist James Thompson said flood watches had been issued across parts of the south-east, including the lower Brisbane river but more specifically the Lockyer Valley region.
