COVID clusters in Brisbane connected by third nurse, believed to be ‘missing link’
A third nurse who tested positive for coronavirus in Brisbane is believed to be the “missing link” between two clusters of the virus.
The nurse is a “historic” case of the virus, reported by Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young on Friday morning.
She was not symptomatic throughout her infection period.
“So this is yet another nurse who has, unfortunately, through doing nothing wrong, contracted the infection, from a gentleman who is clearly a superspreader,” she said.
