The rain cleared in time for Finn Allen and Martin Guptill to go wild, as the hosts finished their home season with another win at Eden Park.
Those who hung around at Eden Park through the rain on Thursday night were treated to the first of what will surely be many international half-centuries by batting prodigy Finn Allen and yet another Black Caps win.
Their third Twenty20 international against Bangladesh was reduced to 10 overs per side after rain fell with only the briefest of interruptions from 2.30pm to 8.30pm.
That gave Allen who made 71 off 29 and fellow opener Martin Guptill licence to go wild from ball one, with the series…
