Victoria eases border restrictions with Queensland

Victoria will downgrade the Greater Brisbane area from a red zone to an orange zone from 6pm on Thursday night.

The Victorian Department of Health announced via Twitter on Thursday that the area, which is currently designated as a red zone under the state’s travel permit system, will become an orange zone.

The Byron Shire in New South Wales and the Gladstone Region in Queensland will remain orange zones.
