Buddy mystery: Teammate says superstar will play, Swans not so sure – The Age
One of Lance Franklin’s senior teammates declared the superstar would face Richmond but the club is yet to make a final call.
Jake Lloyd says Lance Franklin will play but it is by no means a fait accompli Sydneys superstar will be cleared to face Dustin Martins Richmond at the MCG on Saturday.
Club sources indicated on Thursday morning no decision had been made on Franklins availability for the trip to Melbourne. If he is cleared to play it will be the first time in two years the veteran has taken part in back-to-back games.
