The Greater Brisbane COVID lockdown is lifted but there are still restrictions in place. Here’s what you need to know
Greater Brisbane’s lockdown may be ending early but restrictions will remain until at least April 15.
From midday on Thursday, Queenslanders can leave their home for any purpose and travel anywhere in the state.
If you are planning to cross borders, check state websites for information about any restrictions before you leave.
Do I need to wear a mask?
You need to carry a mask at all times, but only need to wear it on indoors, and where you can’t maintain 1.5 meters social distance.
For example, you need to wear one in shopping centres, indoor workplaces, churches, libraries and on public transport.
You do not need to wear a mask at work if you can socially distance from others.
