Airbnb among the Easter COVID transmission threats as Greater Brisbane exits lockdown
Holiday homes are among the possible sites of COVID-19 transmission over the Easter break identified by the Queensland Chief Health Officer.
The only case in Queensland on Thursday was a person who attended a Byron Bay hen’s party with an infectious nurse.
The 11 attendees of the party stayed together in an Airbnb.
“Now all of them, virtually all of them, have become infected,” Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young said.
