Cats veteran Gary Ablett has reportedly quit the West Australian hub and returned to Victoria to be with his family.
The Age is reporting the AFL star landed back in Melbourne on Saturday afternoon after he played in Thursdays 22-point loss to Collingwood.
Geelong has always made it clear that they would allow Ablett to leave the Perth hub at any point if he felt the need to return.
